Berlin - I would like to invite you for a 2.5 hour workshop, to paint together, to discuss art and music, and to get acquainted with Berlin’s unique Techno scene. This workshop is meant for you to express your creativity. You won’t need to buy materials and you don’t need to have prior painting experience. You just need to show up and enjoy the process. In the end you will have a beautiful work of art (acrylic on canvas), made by you, ready to be hung on your walls. How it goes: First we will explore the creative process - what inspires you? What would you like to express/paint? When decided upon the subject, we will choose the best techno/house/goa set to express it and I will instruct on the correct choice and mixing of colors. We will begin to work in layers of color. We will take 2 breaks to discuss the process, evaluate the outcome so far and decide how to proceed. Drinks and snacks on me! We will create final touches and corrections and you will take your newly made Techno Painting with you. While we're painting I will gladly share the "secrets" of Berlin's club culture. Discussing the dress codes and door policies of the major clubs, where I party every weekend.

Berlin - When Cold War was quite hot, people had moved away from Berlin. Empty streets, bars and apartments offered a lot of free space for those who decided to move into Berlin. Also David Bowie seeked for this special type of freedom inside a walled-in city. In 1977 he moved to west berlin. We board our tandem bikes at Crelleplatz and take a ride around the corner to see Bowies house, which became a sacral place. We enjoy the colorful and open-minded neighbourhood where Bowie got inspiration to record three outstanding albums. Our tandem tour continues to the Kleistpark, a former royal hops garden surrounded by the College of fine arts and great ice cream parlours. Constantly we are heading to Nollendorfplatz, the place to be since the late 70s. Here I will show you all the barsand clubs David Bowie and his friends loved to go to. You will love this area, where you can feel the spirit of liberty. Where LGBT culture forms a friendly atmosphere and where history was done.
